I bought this to make journals and I must say that given some of the reviews calling this stuff flimsy, I don't know what they received but the product I received was very sturdy! It is every bit as sturdy as you would have from a tablet backing and for journals, you really don't want it much thicker than this. Love it so much that I bought more before the price goes up!

I will unfortunately be returning this product - but only to re-order a larger size! I’ve previously ordered a competitor’s boards but found that 22 pt. thickness was insufficient for my use. THRILLED to find these instead - 30 pt thickness & acid-free! Not using them for comic books; instead, I am using them to organize my quilting fabrics. (The competitor’s 22 pt. boards were not sturdy enough to use for this purpose.)

I use these for journal making. They do require doubling up if you want a good hardback journal. After research though, it is much cheaper in the long run to buy in large bulk quantities from supply stores that are not on this platform

Makes great covers for homemade books. I have used this product before and it handles nicely. It is for small books or thin books. If I was making a book with 100 pages I would go with a heavier board. Good purchase and great price
