I love Black rice and thought this would be an easy way to access the necessary ingredient to make it!…Well no! If you read the ingredients- it has basically the same ingredients as browning seasoning with black carrot juice - which is where the color comes from with added dyes! It does contain “ mushroom powder” but they are careful not to specify which one! And it contains 3 different kinds of fish! It has a burned poison like after taste and an insult to black rice everywhere! I had to throw the contents of my pot out and scrap the dish completely so no black rice for my family for thanksgiving. Just stick to the actual Djon Djon and steep it yourself so you know it’s real! Gave 1 star because it arrived quickly. It wasn’t the seller, it was the product.
