After reading reviews of these kinds of stands for the echo show 8, I decided to go with the company that makes the same stands for the echo show 5. These are metal stands with magnets inside of them. What is the benefit of that? They make absolutely no noise when being turned and they also can be turned in a 360° angle, meaning any way, either up or down or left or right. That makes a difference to me. So many of these kinds of units that are a little bit cheaper only go up and down or barely go left or right. These units work at all angles silently. Yes, they are a little bit more pricey but they are also a lot more versatile. And they are not plastic. I simply will not buy anything else because I need to be able to turn the units in any direction that I choose. Sometimes quality costs a little bit more but the stands hold units that cost more money (echo show 8) anyway and I need something that is not going to break. Since they swivel on magnets that are silent and it takes about 10 seconds to put it together without any tools, this kind of stand is right for me. ... show more

I have had Echo Show machines for a couple of years. The stands have always been a problem. Either the magnets were not strong enough or the stand did not have enough range of motion or it would just topple over. This stand fixes all those problems and looks like it is part of the echo show. I think it is well worth the cost. ... show more
