I have a bunch of MBJ's pants in different colors, and their other style doesn't have an elastic in the waist. In my opinion, that design is superior to this one, as the elastic is tight, rigid, and muffin-top-producing. Other than that, the fabric is nice, soft and flowy, as always. I didn't realize I had purchased the elastic-waist style until it was too late to return them, so I removed the elastic and stitched the waistband fabric back on without it. Fit as expected but very long. They fit well and are flattering but I am 5 foot two and I’m going to have several inches taken up in order to wear them. For the price it is worth it

These looked like they would be so comfy, but they sit really low and with the wide elastic band, are just not comfortable. I am 5'3" and they are just way too long for me. I'll return them (I bought 2 pair). What a disappointment. They looked awesome on the model! LOL

I ordered a pair of these a few years ago and wore them often. When they got ruined, I ordered another pair only to find they have changed the waistband. There’s a hard band of elastic where there used to be just nice, soft cotton. The elastic they’ve added makes these impossible for me to wear with the extreme touch sensitivity (allodynia) my fibromyalgia causes, so I gave them away and am on the hunt for an option that works better for me. ... show more
