Im a size 6 and they fit true to size! Very comfortable and no breaking in needed. I wore them right out of the box for a long day walking around the theme parks at Disney. asides from it being so hot and making my feet miserably hot, which is just every shoe, they were a great balance and support for platforms! I walked a lot in them all around the world at Epcot. I did have to tie the laces a little tighter so my heel would not slip out but it was only slightly at the beginning. Cute shoes! I was waiting to get these and I'm so glad I got them! I think the red dye may transfer a bit until they're broken in, so I'm wearing some old socks first. I bought my usual size (8.5) and these fit perfectly. I've heard others say that the toe box is narrow, and if you have wide feet, these may be too narrow for you. Also, I need to wear orthotics and I was able to remove the insole and put in my own orthotics. I've always loved Steve Maddens (I used to wear the sky-high heels but can't anymore😏) and these are my new favorite Maddens! ... show more

They are very comfortable, the size is correct, the only detail is the color of the platform that does not match at all (a very big mistake for a factory) but they are so comfortable that I am going to keep them.
