I am a 48” sport coat/chest and a 36 (jeans)/38” (slacks) waist. I ordered XL. The shirt fit fine, but the pants were way too big and long. I had to curl the waist up to shorten them (I am 5’ 9” in shoes), and cinch the drawstring as much as possible. If I had put anything with weight in the pockets, they would have slipped down to my thighs!
