I've always preferred the Minis over the standard-sized M&Ms, entirely because of the candy-to-chocolate ratio. The smaller size means a higher concentration of the crisp outer shell, which provides a much better crunch. I originally bought the resealable bags just for pantry convenience, but they have become a staple for baking. When making cookies with my two kids, the standard M&Ms tend to weigh down the dough or sink to the bottom. These smaller ones distribute much more evenly and don't compromise the structure of the cookie. Pros: Superior crunch and candy shell ratio. Resealable bag keeps them fresh and prevents spills. The perfect size for folding into baking batters. Things to Note: Because they are smaller, they do melt a bit faster in your hands than the full-sized ones. The Bottom Line: A definite upgrade from the standard size, especially if you use them as mix-ins for baking or ice cream. ... show more
