This towel rack is both — luxurious and lovely. This is the second towel rack we’ve installed from this brand. The first one was so easy and enjoyable that we ordered another for our second bathroom. My husband wired our remodel for a hardwired unit, but he just added a receptacle instead and plugged this one in. That and a few mounting screws was all it took to get this up and running in practically no time. If you have a screwdriver and a wall outlet, you can have this fantastic hot towel experience! The controls are right there on the rack itself, easy to access and use. We turn it on about 20 minutes before a bath and the towel is waiting and toasty. It’s also great for drying towels. The large rack has generous capacity for both damp and dry towels at once. The timer is the perfect feature for forgetful folks like me. The gold finish is a great match for the gold fixtures of the major manufacturers found in the big box stores. It’s elegant without being either brassy or dull. Much like matte black, it has a tendency to show blemishes from water and handling, but a regular wipe with a soft cloth seems to blend things right out. I expect there will be a natural patina over time but that’s to be expected from almost any finish that isn’t chrome, and even that needs constant polishing. It’s worth mentioning that while it has obvious weight, it is not what I would call heavy. The width makes mounting into studs easy. I’m not worried about damage to my walls. If I had a third bathroom, I’d buy another one, but for now I’ll be happy with the ones I have haha!

The media could not be loaded. We are really enjoying this towel warmer; there is nothing like having a warm towel ready when you get out of the shower. It also does a great job of drying them out much faster afterward. It hits 160°F, which is plenty warm, and the built-in timer is fantastic for setting it to turn on and off automatically so you don't have to think about it. Why not 5 stars? Installation. The hardware is a little "weird" and unique. I’m not a construction professional, and while I managed to get it on the wall, the hardwired option was a bit of a struggle. If I were doing it over, I would definitely just use the plug-in version for a much simpler setup. Once it's up, though, it works perfectly and looks high-end!

I recently took a vacation to Europe where I traveled from Germany to Greece via train. I stopped in every country along the way. Long story short, most BnB's I stayed in had this item. Not even super fancy places had them. Point being here is that this is a pretty cool recent feature, and for a reason. I picked this up so I could take home some of that European luxury. Installation was simple. Came with the hardware needed to install. Just needed a drill. Thankfully I had a power plug near where I mounted it. Hardwired would be ideal, but that does require an electrician to do it to code for a bathroom if it's an existing build. Fits well with my bathroom. Please note the power consumption: At around 100W of power, this will cost around $0.25 - $1.00 per day (depending on where you live) to use it in constant mode. If you use it for say 3 hours (30 minute pre-heat, 3.5hr dry time) that will cost you around $0.03 - $0.12. It does work quite well. Using the 3 hour timing above gives me a nice and warm towel after I get out of the shower and it then dries the towel after. This seems to work well for me. I live in a low humidity area, so your results may vary.

Im not a fancy person, so i dont usually buy fancy things. I was this and thought..... why not? I was going to initially put it in the bathroom for our towles after a shower. But, I didnt want to hard wire and wasnt going to run an extenstion cable across the bathroom. So, I went with the dining room/clothes drying room to use as a work clothes dryer/blanket warmer. It works so much better than I thought it would. HEats up pretty fast for just being a bunch of metal bars and wires. The controls are pretty easy to use and figure out. Theres a temprature setting and a timer along with the power button. Very easy to press. Took a couple min to get fully heated and we stuck the blankets on for the kids. That was 2 weeks ago. They put thier blankets on it mutliple times a day now with it being cold out. My wife also uses it for drying her over priced delicate work suits and she said it got them dryer much faster than just hanging them up. It was...interesting to install to say the least. Im sure I only had a problem because the drywall in my house is garbage. But, I got half onto a stud and the other side in the included drywall anchors and it is very solid. I wouldnt add my own weight to it, but it holds multiple damp itmes at once with a wiggle. I however put a giant hole through my wall pressing too hard with the drill against way too thin drywall and pushed the anchor all the way through. But, Its still up there. lol After this, I think I might try some more fancy things.
