I am 162 lbs @ 5'3", measure 36DD-31-41, wear a sz 12 in jeans, and bought the sz Medium in Dark Blue. ~~I normally wouldn't buy Medium bottoms unless they were a relaxed fit fabric. However, after reading reviews about stretchiness from people of similar size, and Amazon's recommendation, I chose a sz Medium. They are very stretchy, and I had no problem fastening them. There was minimal waist pinching, and they were even long enough to cover most of the cellulite on the back of my thighs. The uneven hemlines on the legs didn't seem extreme to me, just looked a bit like I may have done it myself. They are on the thin side, but that's expected with this amount of stretch. The one big negative for me is that the Mediums were really tight, especially in the crotch, and I had to pull them down to avoid camel toe. This is not a manufacturer error, just my own preference for fit. I've just bought another pair in a Large hoping to give myself a little extra room. ~~Large review~~ Large definitely provided more room in certain areas, but I think the Medium was tight enough to suck things in a bit more. However, there wasn't as much pinching in the waist in the Large, and the legs may have been a smidge longer-but maybe not. I did notice the length discrepancy mentioned in other reviews, one leg was a little longer than the other. It seemed more noticeable in the larger size. What made me start to question keeping the shorts is the fact that the longer length of the one leg may very well rub on the opposite thigh in a whole new very painful version of chub rub. They're both going back.

These are my current favorite shorts for the summer. They're super cute, and they go with way more than I thought they would. They're very comfortable which is hard to find when apple shaped. They don't hurt my stomach by being so tight but aren't baggy either. They're just right. I've worn and washed these a few times and they're still like new so the quality seems good.
