I have been wanting a small, narrow car seat organizer for when I take my lunch to work. My lunch bag holds lunch and a protein shake in the side pocket. There were a few times when the lunch bag tipped over because it was just placed in the backseat, without anything to keep it in place. My lunch bag fits perfectly in the back pocket and now there is no risk of it tipping over. This may seem like a very specific justification, but it's better than cleaning up 2r ounces of frozen protein shake from the carpet! As an added benefit, the front pocket perfectly fits those foam food containers for restaurant leftovers! I also like to keep an empty refillable plastic soda cup in the car, and this item holds it perfectly. The picture shows how the large plastic cup fits into the mesh holder, but since I normally do not keep anything else in the pockets, I just keep the cup in the larger section. I cannot speak to how well it holds kid items, but already this item has paid for itself in peace of mind in helping keep my car cleaner and tidy. It is sturdy and attractive, and has loops on the backside that you slide the seatbelt through, to keep it in place. It has a wipeable material for any spills that do occur. For those with kids or who carry around a lot of stuff, the pockets are deep enough for additional items, like boxes of wipes, tissue boxes, writing implements in the side pockets, etc. The price is a bit steep; I would have expected to pay around half this much had I found the item in my local super store, but I do not regret the purchase at all.

This car seat organizer is perfect for transporting kids and all their gear: iPads, electronics, toys, markers/crayons, diapers, snacks, drinks, picture/activity books...! It keeps all their "stuff" off the car floor and car seats. Plus, the kids can reach their things more easily, than with the organizers that hang from the back of the seat in front of them. The cup/bottle holders can be used with most any size drink: water bottles, sippy cups, baby bottles, etc. and are ideal for back seat use/kids' hands. The size of the organizer is perfect... tall enough to hold books upright, and large enough for all the kids' gear! When driving my brother's kids in their minivan, the kids can share it by using the handles on the sides to slide it from the front to the back of the van. When we get home, I can use the organizer to collect all the kids' stuff to carry inside. The organizer is very portable. It also works well for toting pet supplies/toys for my dog in the car. I've even used it to transport houseplants, as the high, strong sides make it perfect for that. When traveling alone, I like to use the organizer on my front passenger seat, so my purse, snacks, drinks, notes, etc. don't fall/roll onto the floor. The separate sections make finding what I need easier when I'm driving. The zippered pockets are great for smaller things like my phone charger, house keys, tissues... This organizer is very well-made, sturdy, stable, and is even ingeniously designed to easily fold flat when not in use. It's strong enough to withstand rough use from the kids, and has shown no signs of ripping or tearing! It also has absolutely no offensive odor, like many other organizers. It's made with durable, safe, chemical-free, and eco-friendly materials! WOW!!! I'd highly recommend this organizer to anyone who owns a car (or truck, RV, boat, etc.), and especially if you have kids, grandkids, dogs...!

Perfect fit between my 2 kids car seats. Holds whatever you need (books, snacks, small blankets, etc). Took a star off for sturdiness. In order to top the item, The sides are folded diagonally and makes the sides of this box a little flimsy. It does have an insert to keep the bottom open and flat though. There was also a really weird chemical smell that almost made me return it, but I had the windows open for the first day it was in and I can’t smell it anymore after using it in my car for a few months. One thing to consider-it isn’t super easy for your kids (if they’re 3 or younger like mine) to actually reach inside the box. Of course they’re strapped in their car seats so they can’t learn forward, but with short child arms, they have a hard time getting things out of the box. Luckily I can reach back and get most things from the front compartment for them.
