This is a lovely blanket. It's more the size and heft of a crib quilt, but we know you don't put a quilt in a crib with an infant. I'm using it as a loose and comfy cover while sitting and holding the baby, putting her on it for tummy time, and covering her in her baby seat, etc. It's very soft, large for an infant, and the tiny embroidered stars and moons are sweet. The stitching seems above average. The flip side is a plain jersey material. The exterior fabrics are 100% cotton, and it says it has a 100% polyester fill. The fill isn't super noticeably as this isn't a puffy quilt by any means. But it does add some extra insulation and girth to the blanket. The price is competitive. It comes in a box that's a little too small, and unlike many clothing and fabric items I buy, it didn't smell bad. Of course I washed it and I gently pulled the blanket into its rectangular shape and hung in over a large laundry basket to air dry. The downside of this blanket is they specifically say don't machine dry it. Not convenient. Overall a very good blanket with an ample choice of colors. ... show more

The light pink is so pretty - it's a muted, soft pink. The weight of this blanket and size are both really nice. It's fairly soft. I like that the outer fabric is 100% cotton (the lining is polyester). The embroidered stars and moons are really cute. Packaging is nice so it's giftable. It's hard to see in my photos but one of the outside edges isn't totally straight - it veers up in the middle slightly. But I feel like that is me just being really picky. It’s big enough to fold over and tuck in around baby in winter to keep them warm and then unfold to keep warm once inside vehicle or building. Doesn’t fall out constantly and is very soft. A lot smaller than I thought but still in love with it the color is accurate and I got one that’s a neutral color which I’m grateful they have a color that can go for either a boy or girl. Great color when you’re trying not to have such bright colors in your nursery. It’s very soft my only complaint is the fluff inside of the blanket moves around so when washed it needed to be fixed still didn’t fully take back the shape 100% but it’s not that noticeable it just bothers me because I see every detail in things. When I say a good mix, I mean a great mix of a heavier blanket that is still light weight and breathable. I love the color as it could be considered a neutral. The blanket is pretty soft and seems to be a great choice for the cooler months. The embroidery for me is a sweet touch.
