I really like these shoes for their minimalist and compact design. I hate shoes that look disproportionately large -- these shoes are not like that, they fit well and are light. And there is not too much cushioning, which I like. They are my default everyday shoes, including for travel. After 4-5 months of daily use, they started to show come apart in some places. See photos. They still look fine, but the main problem is the bottom of the shoes are now allowing water to come through up to my socks. So, I'm going to retire them. Good quality shoe; heavier than expected. I had to return because the are much larger than a standard shoe size. I reliably wear a size 9, which is what I ordered, but I couldn't walk with them without my heels coming out of the shoes because they are much longer than a standard size 9. I am guessing I would have had to go 2 sizes down for the right fit. If you order, I would definitely go down 1 or 2 sizes. ... show more

I have to admit these are reasonably comfortable. I’ve had multiple back surgeries since 1987. 12 to be exact. I don’t wear them daily, but the reasonably comfortable loafers although I have to use a three-quarter inch or orthotic inside of them for my arch for my feet and my lower back.
