UPDATE: Changed from 5 to 4 stars. The flavor is good as I reported earlier, but it does dry out more quickly that the Shibari brand lube that we usually use. It's fine during oral or intercourse when there's other sources to keep it hydrated, but it's not nearly as good for multiple sessions in a row, or stop and start activities. There will be a sticky/gummy build up if you reapply. ORIGINAL: I read a lot of reviews on this and I couldn't find any on the Birthday Cake flavor specifically. Well, I'm happy to say my girlfriend and I both think it's really quite good in flavor and it performed its function quite well too. I had pretty low expectations, but it exceeded them quite a lot. If you're willing to make a very modest sacrifice to performance and you don't expect it to taste EXACTLY like cake, then you'll probably be pretty happy with this. Will buy again.

OMG! this stuff is AMAZING. it lasts a good while, feels great, is good for my sensitive skin 🍑 and it tastes... um... it does not need to taste this good! the strawberry one was a bit chemically tasting but the birthday cake straight up tastes like melted vanilla ice cream. like, I'd put it in my coffee if you didn't tell me what it was. did I mention it FEELS GREAT? my boyfriend and I now have a pavlovian response to vanilla, so thanks for that. 🌈🌈 update: eww do not buy sex on the beach lol. it tastes like gasoline and fast food orange juice. get cake

Does NOT taste like birthday cake or vanilla!! Tastes exactly like maple syrup. Not my favorite flavor. The consistency is really nice and will still try to use it.
