I am so happy with this urn, I wanted something simple and non traditional, just like my father.. I bought the large and it fits his ashes well (average size man). It was very easy to place his bag of ashes into the provided velvet bag and from there inside his vessel. The battery operated candle it comes with is cute and smells of Vanilla, I go through a set of batteries (3) every two days since I have the candle lite daily from morning to night.. the colors are fun to change, something my young daughter enjoys selecting. The main reason I bought this urn over the others is because of the large glass cylinder vase, it allows me to store a few memorials items. As silly as it is, currently I have in there his last beer from the fridge and pack of cigarettes w/a lighter, all thing I know he would never leave without… its me trying to lure his spirit in, 😝 I figured once I have created the look with all the trinkets / memorabilia I may opxy everything in place inside the cylinder vase. I bought this for my Dad's ashes. I bought the larger size. Doesn't look like an urn. I light candles daily. This has individual colors or set as multi color. Has a 4 or 6 hr timer. It will be a very special piece. No one will know it's an urn. You can also decorate between the candle & glass. This will be aan uplifting urn( for me anyway) Hope this helps.

This item looks like a bucket of paint it is too large. The glass does not fit on top of the large size urn very well. There is space on all sides of the glass that the candle is in. Maybe the smaller one would have a better appearance. Will return this one.

I love this urn so much because it doesn't look like an urn. The quality, and craftsmanship is awesome. My dad recently passed away and I just couldn't bear the idea of putting him in a traditional urn and I came across this one and knew this was the one for him. People who came to his service didn't even know it was an urn but did comment how cool it was and when the time came when they had to go through this that they would purchase this urn. Someone from the company even contacted me after my purchase just to see if I was happy with the product or if there was anything they could do for me which I thought was nice. They didn't have to check in but the fact they did at such a sad time in my life made me see they this company goes the extra mile for humanity and not money. If you are in need of an urn I promise you that you will be very happy you purchased this urn.
