Same VCX2 hybrid system that is still in use by Louisville in 2026 models, so a tip for cheap parents like me. Get this bat, save over $150 from the 2026 model, and your kid will be swinging a high quality, top-shelf bat for more than one season. It is true length to weight ratio, and not as end loaded as the BBCOR version of the same bat, so it swings balance like a Bonesaber or hype fire. Paint chipping is normal, you are buying a bat to hit baseballs, not to pose for photos. Save some money, get this bat! ... show more

Got this for just over $130 after tax and shipping. Really good price for the USSSA -5 version. We got a 32"/27oz since my 13-yr old has to go to the -5 next year but for only one year because the next year they change to the BBCOR. Getting ahead of the requirements a little bit. Seems like a really good bat so far. He's currently using a 32"/24oz so this one is a bit heavier but not too much. He's only hit into the net so far but no problems at all. The sound it makes is somewhere between the aluminum ping and the composite clack. Might end up redoing the grip to get some swelling at the bottom. Otherwise great bat for the money if you can find it in that same price range. I really didn't want to spend much since my son will only be able to use it for one season. ... show more

The Louisville Slugger 2023 Select PWR™ USSSA Baseball Bat has been an awesome choice for my 11-year-old! Right out of the wrapper, this bat has tons of pop, giving great power and distance on hits. It has a solid feel, great balance, and really helps with confidence at the plate. The durability has been impressive so far, and it seems to hold up well to regular use. It’s slightly end-loaded, which works great for players who can handle a bit of extra weight in their swing.
