Bought this for my 7 year old son for coach pitch. Never used in a game, just break in period and then some light practice (easy hitting) to get used to it. Now that spring season is about to start, he has grown into the bat and decided to start really hitting with it. Halfway through BP, it starts making a weird sound. It's clear that the pop is gone.     • Well balanced with plenty of pop
This is a beautifully balanced, light swinging bat with tons of pop right out of the wrapper. I added it to the arsenal for my 9 year old who had been swinging a Meta 30/-10 we'd picked up used. He was a little slow with that one, and the end cap kept popping off, so we replaced with a new, lighter bat. You'll notice immediately how light it swings. It has a nice midrange sound to it, less tinny than straight up alloy, but far from the thud I usually associate with composite. Apropos of nothing, it has unusually nice paint, with a deep blue sparkle that the pictures don't capture. A truly beautiful bat. First game, it was the talk of the dugout, and the first three hits all hit the fence. ... show more
