The slit is real guys, its a little high but I just wore shorts underneath and it worked great. The fabric way unexpectedly thick and soft. It was super comfy and fit great. It was true to size. It shipped quickly and there were no problems. Even through the fabric is a little thicker, the flutter sleeves and slit make it comfy in warm weather (it was 93 degrees for the wedding pictures). It was a bridesmaid dress for a friend's wedding so I can also confidently say that it works for multiple body types, Unfortunately the different dresses were very slightly different shades of red. Not super noticeable though. If you're just buying this for yourself and don't have to match, fabulous. If you specifically need exactly the same color for all of your bridesmaid dresses, this might not be the one for you. Once I get the wedding pictures I'll try to put one in here. ... show more

Comfortable, fit beautifully, very flattering, and made me wedding ready in a heartbeat. Highly recommend. I wore it for a semi-formal wedding, and looked great. I am 6’1” and it still looked great, which is rare. Often dresses made for the average woman look too short on me.

I love this dress and it’s really nice material and a good quality, but unfortunately I have to return it because the slit is too high so it looks too short in the front. I’m 5’7” and all legs, so it just doesn’t look right. This would absolutely be super flattering on someone else though!

This dress -- is amazzzzzinnnnng. I read the reviews and wondered, could this dress be this incredible? Well, yes, YES it is. First, the seller's size chart is extremely accurate. I know my measurements, and I generally have to buy dresses for my bust measurement since many are cut for a smaller chest. For that reason, I bought the size I did. I expected it to be slightly oversized in the waist (which it was), but not enough to require alterations. It really gave me an hourglass shape. Second, this is a quality dress -- the fabric weight is something you would likely find at a high-end retailer or a boutique. The fabric was comfortable to wear (and I have a rare nerve disease, so fabric softness is critical). It draped beautifully and was soft and flowy without looking like it was made for a little girl or a vintage prairie woman. I'm extremely particular about quality and fit, and this dress checked all the boxes. It gives designer vibes without the high price tag. Seriously, I have seen dresses similar in style for this price three times more. As someone who is thin but not stick thin, who is aging (and who knows how gracefully -- lol), who wants to look fashionable but age appropriate (I'm not twenty-something), and who also wants a modest cut, this dress was it. Super, super comfortable. Very nice length (even in the front, which was higher), and the proportions were perfect. My only negative feedback is that I did have to trim a few dangling threads. But it won me over by realizing the dress can be machine-washed. (I will line dry to keep it looking beautiful.) I can envision this being worn to a wedding (as I intended), to work, to a fancy party, to an award ceremony, and to church. I would absolutely recommend it to a friend. ... show more

The cut of the dress is fabulous and is very complementary for a full figure woman. Typically wear size 18-20 Plus and ordered a 3x per the size chart. It fit perfectly, if not a little snug in the bodice but not uncomfortably so. I am returning the dress due to the material. It feels very cheap.
