The material is solid but light weight and is not see through. I skipped a bra and work Cakes instead because the dress provides good lift. I'm 5'3 and wore a large. This was a well made nice dress. I ordered it to wear as a guest for October wedding. It was comfortable, flattering and I received many compliments. It did wash my dress in my machine on the delicate setting and hung to dry and it did fine. I used the steam setting on my iron to get some wrinkles out and it worked great also. Great buy for the price. I’m 5’4 and length was perfect.

This is one of the most flattering dresses I’ve ordered on Amazon. The fabric was better than expected! So comfortable! Has a stretch to it but lays nicely on the skin/body. Helps to hide body imperfections. I have a shorter upper body and it laid nicely on me. I am self conscious about my arms and stomach area and this dress was perfect! I’m a little busty so I sized up one size. I’m typically an XL or 14/16 and the XXL was great. I could have worn my normal size but I was worried(self conscious) about my stomach area. I will be ordering more colors. A staple for my closet! I wore this to a 4pm wedding in the Midwest. It was perfect and the color is amazing!!!!!! BUY IT! You won’t regret it!! PS - I didn’t need to size up 2 sizes like some say. It was way too big. 1 size or true to size in my opinion.

I bought this to wear at a formal wedding. It was perfect. For the price this is a great buy. The material was a bit different than I expected but it is actually quite comfortable and lightweight but not sheer. The material is also very flattering. I think this could be great for an outdoor wedding. The color of the dress was exactly like the picture, I ordered the navy. I found this to run a little big due to the stretch of the fabric so next time I would order a size down. Also because the fabric is stretchy I never needed to use the zipper. This was a great purchase and I would recommend this for anyone looking for a nice formal dress that doesn’t break the bank.

Gorgeous dress. Heavy fabric. Not cheap. Price point is perfect. Wore it to formal occasion and fits right in. Just one problem the first wash red dye runs a little. Stained my white shirt. So make sure to wash with dark color clothings. I used delicate cycle and it hangs dry without wrinkle.

I bought this dress to wear to a wedding and I was excited to wear it. I ordered my normal size and the dress fit perfectly and the material was nice and not too thin and flimsy. What was not so nice about this dress was how high and awkward the slit was. I wouldn’t have minded if the slit was more to the side. I had to safety pin the slit in many areas to keep things from showing as it was windy. Also this exposed a lot of cleavage and I kept having to adjust the top as I was paranoid that something was going to pop out. (I recommend a strapless bra for this dress) and there were some weird seams and stitching on the front of the dress. Overall it is a nice dress and a good value for the money. I just don’t think it worked for me and my body type.
