The long, ribbed dress is quite comfortable and stretchy. I was surprised at how soft the material is. It's rather thin material but perfect for summer wear. I ordered a size up and it was perfect. The dress is fitted and does cling to your curves. Since the material is thin, so it doesn't go a good job in camouflaging any lumps and bumps you want to hide. Since the dress is so stretchy, it would be perfect maternity wear. The color purple/lavender is also very nice - like springtime. Lastly, the dress is long but it is in no way a semi-formal dress in the traditional sense.

This dress is figure flattering and made of a soft lightweight material that you can wear around the house or dress it up and wear out. The dress fit well in all areas and shows my shape without being too tight. This dress can be dressed up or down. The huge con for me and anyone over 5'6 or 5'7 is that this dress is not long enough for the flare at the bottom (see 3rd photo). A dress with a flare like this really needs to be floor length otherwise it just looks weird (unless you stand at angles where you stretch out the bottom like my second photo). I solved this issue by tying a knot at the bottom and the dress looks great.

I normally wear a small, but ordered a medium so that it wouldn’t be too clingy. This fit EXACTLY how I was hoping it would! It’s nicely fitted and tapered without looking like it’s painted on. This fabric is thick and stretchy! As in - thick enough that I don’t have to worry about panty lines at all! Yet it still soft and extremely comfortable! Pros - it fits well. It’s opaque. It’s SOFT! It’s a good length (I’m 5’4”). It washes well. Cons - haven’t found one! This dress is a slam dunk!

I went with a large instead of my usual medium and frankly I could have went either way. The medium would have a bit shorter so that's why I tried large. At 6 feet 170lbs it fit fine but, a tad loose on the hips. the hem length almost matched the models photos so, not bad. Soft enough to sleep in.

Wow, this dress really surpassed my expectations! The ribbed material is soft & stretchy—not firm like others that wouldn’t have a good stretch. It’s soft and comfortable to walk and move around in without feeling too tight in it. It fits well in all the right places while still being loose enough feel lightweight. I love that the collar comes all the way up like a t-shirt and it has the same comfort of wearing one in dress form. Highly recommend this dress, especially for us petite ladies because y’all know how hard it is to find a well-fitted dress that isn’t too baggy on our frames! ✨

I'm part of the vine program, I get free or reduced cost items in exchange for an honest review. This is one of those reviews. I've been looking for a simple ribbed dress, that split between something I would wear in a more casual setting and something that I could wear in a more dressy setting. This dress lands closer to the casual side simply by it's material and style, but that ok. I sized up because I wanted a less bodycon, super-slinky fit (I'm middle age and have a middle age belly) and more of a casual fit, and if given the option going up two sizes would have been better for me I think, I ordered the brown, and it's a decent color, and as represented in the pictures, with decent color depth. I'm above average height and the length hit my ankles right where i wanted it to. Just short enough to show off my shoes, just long enough to have that right maxi dress look. The material drapes decently and the hand of the fabric is right where you would expect it to be given the style and fabric, although I suspect I'll have be gentle while drying it, to keep pilling at bay. Overall, if you are looking for dress in this super simple style, this wouldn't be a bad option. It gets three stars because it's neither fantastic or terrible.

I've been looking for a chocolate maxi for a long time. This dress is everything I wanted in a maxi and more. The chocolate color is a true rich brown tone. All the maxi dresses I have in my closet are spaghetti straps. I love that this dress has short sleeves. I sized up for 2 reasons. First I wanted to ensure that the dress would be a relaxed fit and not too tight. Secondly, I wanted the dress to stop at the floor, not above my ankles. Both of my goals were accomplished by sizing up. Great quality dress. An absolute must have.

I was pleased to see it didn't have a tag in the neck area - you can find it on the inside of the dress towards the bottom.
