This is a truly lightweight top. Even though the fabric is not see-through at all, the sleeves are bracelet left. The bottom comes over your hips and this is the coolest thing I've worn all summer ☺️ In terms of temperature and in terms of being good looking. THIS ITEM SHRINKS! I tried it on the second it arrived, and it fit perfectly. I washed it in cold water and then hung it to dry...and now, 24 hours later, it's noticeably tight on my hips when I try it on with the same pants. So whatever size you need, get the next size up! That said, I love this shirt. It is well constructed with good seams and strong, quality fabric. it is breathable and incredibly comfortable. I just ordered two more, even though I ordered the largest size and can't size up, because I plan to sew in gussets so they fit my hips. The shirts are worth the effort for me. I'm a large woman with a lot of curves and bumps and this shirt gives my figure a soft appearance without sacrificing on structure -- it has just the right amount of flow to make me feel and look feminine. I bought this top because the peach and turquoise colors really caught my eye. I have turquoise earrings that go great with it. I'm 64 and like to cover my arms and mid section so this was a perfect style. I'm 5 ft 9 in and 170 lbs and went with a large which fits perfectly. I have not washed it yet, just ironed it, but when I do wash it I would probably hand wash and definitely hang to dry. This shirt is really cute. I purchased a medium based on my normal size and it pretty much runs true to size. I might have been able to go up one size, but I think it would have been too big across the chest and shoulders. The color is beautiful and vibrant. It could be worn with jeans or a skirt, to dress up or down. The material is good, there's no stretch to it, but if you can get the right size, it's not really needed.
