So far... so good I had to replace my grommet and peacock in my plastic fuel tank. The replacement grommet didn't fit that snugly. I used this when installing both of them and so far, no leaks.

Sealed the holes around the fuel lines to my weed wacker. However, after a week or so I have to take off the old and reapply because the adhesive drys and wont adhere to the plastic fuel tank. But a good inexpensive, temporary fix until I can replace my fuel lines.

    • Absolutely NOT gas resistant
Failed to read others' reviews before I bought. Used to help seal a plastic connector I tap-threaded into a gas cap for an extended run system. Product is extremely thin and runny, like water. Allowed to dry for two days. Then 30 minutes after filling my tank and running my pump, this stuff totally turned into a gooey mess. Created a stream of dark yellow residue running all over the cap and down the side of my gas tank. Maybe gas resistant if you spill a drop of gas on it and wipe it off, but that's about it. Non-returnable as well. Going straight in the garbage. Can't think of anything this will be good for. I just hope it's not going to gum up and ruin my pump's small carburaetor ... show more

There was small leak in the gas tank petcock and this help stop the leak and by the looks of it, it’s holding up good

Even though it it comes out like super glue after about 72 hours it seems to be a clear gasket. I have to use the whole tube to do the job. It's thin and will fill in low spots as long as it's on a very flat surface. You might want to use a level or eyeball it. Make sure it's flat because it will run. I would recommend it's but would I get it again. Probably not. ... show more
