For years, my wife and I had a very large mahogany-type computer desk with drawers and a pull out keyboard shelf. It served its purpose, but when it was time to get a new desk I didn't want the same style again. I wanted something with a large surface, clean & trendy look, well-made, and not super expensive. I found this desk on Amazon and from the pictures it appeared to be exactly what we were looking for. This thing is a gem. It's long, deep & just the right height. It's made very well and was easy to assemble with the instructions that were included. The top is actually 3 separate pieces with the middle piece being the biggest and the 2 outer pieces being about half the size. It's wood-looking, but it's a laminate material so it's not nearly as heavy or bulky. The stand quality is very impressive. It's very stable, doesn't have those big cross bars (which I almost always hit my knees on) and has 4 adjustable feet if you need to level it for any reason. Mine is on tile floor and it was rock solid without any feet adjustments. I've included a picture for reference. I have dual 27" monitors and there is still at least a foot of extra space on each side. For appearance, construction quality & size, this is a definite 5-star review for me. ... show more

It was easy to set up; but pay attention to the pictures. There are no written instructions and so you should look at which side of the metal pieces attach to the table's wood. I had to remove some of the screws and turn over one piece so the side supports would fit. Only problem is that the wood on the table top had several flaws in the wood from shipping. It's a great desk but somehow I got one piece which had a huuuuge scratch from side to side on the top, can't hide it. And honestly I'm not gonna ask for refund or replacement since it's a huge desk that took a while to put together. I guess I just got unlucky. Other than that , great desk.
