I brought my baby girl home from the hospital in this. She was so adorable but, at 5lbs. 10oz. The newborn size was too large. She has been able to wear it a few more times though. The hat however, never fit and would be more suitable for a 1 year old. I still recommend this beautiful outfit.

I bought this as to use as my daughters going home outfit and it was perfect. She looked like a little doll and everyone at the hospital said so! It’s soft and easy to get on and off. My only complaint is that the hat didn’t fit. It was big and shallow but we used a little pink hat instead and it looked just as sweet. For reference this does run big for a newborn outfit in my opinion so if you have a tiny newborn it will probably be too big. My daughter was 8 pounds 14 ounces and it fit her perfect. ... show more

I ordered newborn and preemie because of reviews saying it runs big. In the picture I posted the newborn size next to a newborn size from target and the right is the preemie size next to a preemie size from target. Hope this helps. I got this for our baby girl to wear home from the hospital. It's so soft and very pretty! It was a little large on her. It wasn't so big it was baggie but it also wasn't as snug as I felt it could have been. She was 7lbs 10oz so neither small nor large for a newborn.
