I bought this for my niece’s 5th birthday party. She received many dresses for dress up, but this is the first one she put on. It is beautiful. However, as soon as she had it on she began to complain that the tulle halter was itchy and she couldn’t wait to get it off. The halter has no clasp or tie, and it was snug going on over her head but was impossible to get off of her without digging into her neck. We tried several times and finally gave up after she burst into tears saying it was hurting her. We had to cut off the halter on one side to remove it. Not sure what to do with it now, her grandmother may sew satin straps on but it completely changes the costume. Also several feathers fell off within minutes. Very disappointed! ... show more

This is such a great costume. The headpiece is beautiful and fits so well. My daughter is 46lbs and 46inches, and we bought the 6/7 size and it fits great! The wings are so detailed and real feathers not the fake stocking kind. The dress has a layer of black material under neath to ensure that the child is not showing any skin. The ribbon in middle of bodice can be tightened to fit the child better. The tulle is full and beautiful, you don’t need to worry about making it look fuller. The tulle on the top of dress near her face does bother her a bit, however, small price to pay for such a beautiful dress. If you put a long sleeve shirt on or short sleeve shirt then it would take away this issue. ... show more

My daughter loved the skirt, headpiece and wings. Even through I bought a bodysuit to go underneath it, it was still very itchy on the neck.

Definitely a good value but as expected with tulle it does get irritating and itchy after awhile.. head peace and wings are great quality would still recommend

It's such a cute dress. The wings were a little smaller than expected, but are still cool. Definitely needs something on underneath my daughter says the material is scratchy. She loves it!

One of the WORST purchases ever!!! The feathers constantly fell off without much movement from my child. She just did without the wings because of it. The dress was super weird to put on as there was no snap, button, zipper etc. for the neck piece. It was a horrible buy..... daughter didn’t wear it long and I would think twice if you’re thinking of purchasing this costume. ... show more
