This cloak or cap is heavier and thicker than expected, made of a velvet like material, with a metal clasp at the neck, it is decent for the price. Definitely worth the purchase.

The cape is a beautiful color, perfect crushed velvet. Deep, Rich Gold. Has a hood and stays on the shoulders well too. The clasp at neck is perfect. Much better than strings to tie. I wore it with a chocolate velvet evening gown to a masquerade ball. Many compliments.

Used this for Halloween. It is so iridescent and nice. Its NOT light weight, but its also not exceedingly heavy. f If you are layering, it would work well for trick or treating in the cold. If you are using it for an office party, you will likely sweat. It has a well secured clasp at the neck and is comfortable though. I really liked it. The color of the cape is gorgeous and the fabric is nice. It is very flattering and the length is good (I am 5'3'' and it dragged a few inches on the floor but that's the look I was going for). Could definitely be used for lots of different costumes.
