This dress is beautiful and fits well. The fabric is a linen blend that adds to the quality of this dress. The only reason I took off one star is because it’s longer than pictured, it hits me a couple inches above my ankles and I’m 5’4”, so I wouldn’t recommend for shorter ladies.

***Updated August 2023: I added a star bc I bought this dress again in pink. It really is a cute style. The lining isn't unacceptable, I just have sensory issues with it on my legs. This is a really pretty dress, but (my opinion) the lining is garbage. It is that cheap, slippery "nylon feeling" material. I cut the lining out entirely and will be leaving it unlined since the outer fabric is a nice weight and not sheer at all. Other than that issue, this dress is awesome. It gets a lot of attention without showing a lot of skin and can be styled up or down. Almost perfect.

I love the way the top half of this dress fits & looks great but the lining only goes to the slit?? The white dress is half see through and looks cheap. It would easily be 4 or 5 stars if the whole dress was lined. I would recommend only buying in dark colors

I'm 105 lbs, 5'3", 34c bra, 27 waist. This dress fit great and it hits me above my ankles. The pink is just as shown, it has great material and is not see through. Very comfortable too!!

I read the reviews and hesitated, but I ordered and love this dress. I bought it in white and it is cotton with a weave that seems more like a linen look. I am older and was worried about the side cut outs but actually love them. I bought for a beach wedding upcoming in November where the bride has asked us all to wear white along with her and the groom!! The liner is great as it hides the undergarments, the skirt is kind of boxy like another reviewer mentioned, but not that bad for my shape. I have not washed it as I think I will not wear til the wedding as I like the the look that the sizing provides... I may have it dry cleaned if I can't iron out the wrinkles! Great value for the price!

The LILLUSORY Women's Cutout Split Linen Cotton Sleeveless Slit Maxi Dress was like a twisted game of dress-up gone horribly wrong. I was genuinely excited to slip into this seemingly ethereal creation, but alas, it transformed me into a walking fashion disaster. The cutouts seemed to mock my body's natural curves, and the split, instead of adding a touch of elegance, made me feel like I was trapped in some sort of fashion experiment gone awry. The linen and cotton blend might have sounded heavenly, but it clung to all the wrong places, giving me the silhouette of a crumpled paper bag caught in a gust of wind. I had envisioned breezy and beautiful; what I got was awkward and unflattering. If you're looking for a way to shatter your self-esteem, go ahead and give this dress a try. But if you value your sanity and your sense of style, steer clear of the LILLUSORY disaster that was the Cutout Split Linen Cotton Sleeveless Slit Maxi Dress.
