Due to family health issues I'm getting married in 2 months, and don't have time to order a gown from a boutique. I ordered several dresses from Amazon to try out, and was so pleasantly surprised by this gown. I used to work in a high end boutique years ago selling Vera Wang, Badgley Mischka, Reem Acra, Ramona Keveza, etc., and also worked at David's Bridal. Unfortunately, this wasnt a great style for my body type, and I bought a size too small. However, the quality of this gown, the construction, the lace, and the belt were top notch! The lace isn't stiff or plastic feeling, the train moves beautifully, the lining is soft, the shirring looked lovely, and the belt and detail were of a nice quality for the price. The hem can be shortened by removing the lace edge, hemming, then reapplying, but it almost fit perfectly with me at 5'4" in 3" heels. I'd highly recommend this for a bride with a bit more of an hourglass shape than I have. Professional Advice: laces go from top to bottom, and the tails should always be tucked in. Most gowns will need a little bit of altering so always order for your largest measurement (fit your bust if your hips are smaller, etc.), and bustles can be added easily for after the ceremony. The loop underneath a skirt is for hanging, not to hold while you dance! I bought a size 14, 5'4", 38D, approx 200lb. It was several inches too small to fit around my ribcage, but that's my fault for not checking the size guide better. ... show more

I ended up returning it only because I liked a different one better. I wanted sleeves in case it was cold and it was. But this dress was my 2nd choice and looked amazing! This dress is flattering on most shapes. Didn't like how it was packaged though. It was stuffed in a crumpled ball into a plastic bad and the laceuobacking was tangled with the belt. I'm pretty sure they sent me someone's return which is fine, but it would've been nice to have it sent to me as if it was newly packaged. The belt was also barely sewed together. ... show more

Already tried 4 dresses and thought I was going to wear one of them. Something told me to look one more time. I found this one and ordered it on like Tuesday or Wednesday and my wedding was on Monday. It said it would be here Sunday evening. I was crossing my fingers there would be no delays bc of all the rain. I got it on Saturday. The dress has some weight to it but the material was nice. It was itchy. It fit me perfect so I'm a size 18 with DDD's and I got a size 20 bc it's easier to take in then to let out. But it needed no adjusting. I did wear a spank under it. I never needed to tug on the top bc of slipping. It stayed where it needed to stay. This dress was surprisingly beautiful. Thank you so much. ... show more

I ordered a selection of 8 wedding dresses on Amazon in anticipation of our destination wedding. This dress was hands down “the one”. The quality was much better than the others considering both craftsmanship and fabric. I’m a pretty solid size 8 or medium and it fit perfectly. The lace-up bodice design allows for a great fit. I am 5’3” and wore 4” heels, and the dress was still about 2” longer than ideal, but I’m accustomed to longer clothing items being too long because of my height. There is a trim around the bottom that would need to be removed, the length hemmed, then the trim replaced. I didn’t have time for that so I just picked it up a bit when walking. I did replace the belt with one that had rhinestones and pearls and had a bit more sparkle. The belt that comes with this dress is pretty but it has seed beads. The dress has cups sewn into the top so you could wear it without a bra if desired. It also has a strap on the inside that hooks in the back like the back of a bra that keeps it secure while you lace it up. The dress is a true white and is lined. The media could not be loaded. The dress itself is beautiful and it fits nicely under my arms and chest area. It’s little tight in the hips, and you may want to practice sitting down! This comes with the rhinestone “belt” piece just thrown in the bag and it ripped a lot of the delicate features in the lace. I’d recommend the dress itself but maybe not from this seller as there was not a lot of attention paid during shipping which ripped my dress in multiple places, and it came with a hole in the bottom seam. ... show more
