Works great. And it syncs with all my other cameras. The battery life lasts longer than expected, but it does require two batteries, so you should pick up a few extra.

Camera quality and battery life are awesome!! Love the new battery lock design!! Can’t beat ring!! Great cameras to have!! Good quality in day and night!! There’s a night vision pic zoomed in a little so u can see clarity with no lights on!!

I expected better. For the pricepoint, it's a ripoff in terms of what you get. This was a customer return purchase. For starters, the item was sent to me missing a battery and mounting hardware. The item description stated that all items were present and they were not. I am not at all impressed with image quality. I cannot even see my license plate information at night. My car is parked within 5 ft of where the camera is. To me, this is unacceptable. It's virtually useless to me because I live in a high crime area and having good quality imagery is important. I purchased a router extender specifically for this camera. Despite an excellent RSSI signal, videos played back are terrible! Choppy and blurred. My wifi isn't a problem; their server is. Motion sensitivity is non-existent despite being on most sensitive setting. The only reason I bought this is because I had been gifted a Ring doorbell camera several years ago so I thought it would be nice to add to the Ring collection. However, for the amount of money spent for this particular item, I expected 4k not HD images. Spotlight makes images WORSE! Nightvision is all you need! A zoom function would have been nice. I try not to give Amazon any more of my money than I already do. The cloud subscription is insulting and I refuse to let "Bozos" nickle and dime me.1 This went back. I got a Reolink TrackMix instead (W760). I wanted to like this camera but for what it offers and the image quality it's a rip off. Ring has somewhat gone downhill in terms of what it offers vs. price. There's lots of competition out there; I encourage everyone to do research on different cameras. Doubt I will buy a Ring product ever again.

I bought two of these as the price was perfect, and I see no physical or cosmetic differences when compared to buying a new one. All features work well, setup was easy, and all installation materials were included. Another reviewer mentioned using the QR code directly on the back of the device (behind the mounting plate) during setup, and I can confirm they are right. I was also having trouble using the code that came on the sticker on the box. But when I used the code on the back of the device, it connected immediately. We're long-time ring customers with multiple cameras and their security system, and we couldn't be happier. Update: Purchased my third certified refurb to replace an older spotlight cam plus, so far its been great and no damage noticed on the refurb unit.

Bought this primarily to keep an eye on the antics of all the wildlife in our backyard. I was a little leery after reading the reviews that mentioned the refurbished versions not being recognized by the Ring app, and I did have that problem too. But when I tried the solution offered by one of the other purchasers - scan the original barcode actually inside the unit instead of the sticker attached to the outside of the unit when "reconditioned" as it says to do in the instructions - the camera was recognized immediately and connected to my system. I bought a second battery because I know these draw a lot of power, and so far it looks like it's using about 20% of a battery a week so I expect I'll get 10 weeks of usage (in a cold environment) with two batteries before they need to be changed. When it gets warmer I'll add a solar panel and maybe I won't have to change batteries at all.
