Adds a nice ambiance to the room. Improves mood having the soft lighting on at night. Is a bit unstable on the base, so I'd recommend not placing in a high-traffic area. Not sure how it would hold up outdoors without weighing base down and covering wiring (not on the tree itself, but on the part that plugs into an outlet) in something else. Exterior is covered in simple electrical tape, so it has a cheaper feel up close. The three color variations are nice. Overall I'm satisfied so far. ... show more

This 8-ft lighted tree was perfect for filling in a large empty corner in our bedroom. Assembly was mostly easy. Take some time to nicely spread the branches and leaves by using the photo on the box for reference. The simple flat base needs some weight to better stabilize the tree so I wrapped a pair of ankle weights around it, then draped that with some white fabric. I would’ve rated this tree 5 stars but it’s not actually 9 feet.......Not a deal breaker for me because it fits perfectly in the corner of my dining room! I decided to use it as a “glam” tree and hung crystals to help fill in some of the bare spots. I also wrapped mesh ribbon around the bottom to hind the hideous base! The tree is very beautiful. It says that is for outdoor use, however I keep it inside. We get a strong wind from time to time and I am afraid we would lose a lot of leaves in a strong wind. In a sheltered spot outside it would do fine. I would recommend this tree.
