These do exactly what you'd hope - they absorb water and prevent your glass from sticking or dripping on you. I've been frustrated with coasters recently. There are brands our there that imply how "thirsty" their coasters are and then they go and paint the surface with a waterproof paint. I bought such a set recently and left a single drop of water on there. It was still the same size 2 hours later. My high-ball glasses constantly stuck to the bottom and picked up those coasters. No such issues with these. These are also a good weight and don't slide around a lot.

I fill my water bottle with ice and water every morning and when it sweats the bottle always sticks to my coasters. But not to these. Even though the bottle sweats, it doesn't stick to them. The dark holder makes the coasters easy to find and it looks nice on my living room table.

Theses coasters are of good quality and they’re nice looking but most importantly they work. As your glass accumulates condensation, the coaster absorbs it pretty much instantly, they don’t stick to the cup and no more drippy cup.

I've never seen liquid absorbed so quickly on a coaster! Not only are they a nice eye catcher for your coffee table but they do exactly what they are supposed to. I just love the little holder they come in.
