This excavator is very sturdy and realistic. The action and movements of the toy mimic a real excavator. I bought it for my 5-year-old grandson and he loves playing with it. He doesn't quite understand the mechanics yet but is able to use it with his hands instead of the lever. But the lever holds up, and some day he'll figure out how to use that too.

My 3 year old loves this toy. Unfortunately after an hour one of the treads already came off and won't stay on. After 2 days the other one came off too. I feel like the treads could be put on a little tighter or a different way so they don't just slip off.

I really like this excavater! I bought it for my 2yr old & was pleased with the size & all the movable parts. My son loves it & I would have given it 5 stars if the belts around the bottom didn't come off so easily. It wasn't like that at first, so they must have loosened through play, & it's not a huge deal, bcuz it in no way hinders his play. They aren't constantly falling off or anything, but do come off very easy. They should find a way to prevent that, especially since young children (like mine) can try to put it over their heads. Other then that it's a nice toy & I definitely recommend it!

I bought this for my son and he has been pretty hard on it. He does not treat his toys like garbage but he does play with them and it held up. Yes, the tracks fell off from time to time but he liked putting them on and off. He really enjoyed this toy and got a lot of dirt time from it. He loves playing in rocks and dirt/sand. It did slowly break down until it was not usable but for the what it cost and time he spent on it I will gladly buy another.

My son (3yrs) LOVES this toy. The tracks fall off all the time and it feels cheap but my kid loves it and plays with it daily. He loves that he can actually scoop with it.

Thought it would be cheap but my toddler loves it. Doesn't roll very easily but that's not an issue given we want it to stay put and dig big imaginary holes!
