  • Best screen EVER. So glad I got this laptop.
Capacity: 17-30.99 inches
Forget the outstanding battery life,..forget the exceptional lightweight of this laptop. It's the viewing experience that will blow you away. I can't stop watching 4K animal videos on youtube, you can see every leaf, every feather, hair, details in the eyes of a killer cat. The screen fairly sparkles with color, brightness and exquisite resolution. Pros: --you'll end up watching all your downloaded videos again, they look so upgraded. --the Gram works with GOM player without the slightest hitch or delay or freeze --even after reading the reviews, I really didn't expect the battery life to be this excellent. How can such a large, bright screen consume such little battery, it's like magic. I watched movies all last nite and it's still on 65%: outstanding! --dedicated numbers pad is great! makes life for a touch typist so much easier. --I'm a touch typist and am loving the mile-a-minute keyboard. I'm guessing the keyboard naysayers are of the hunt and peck variety? The keyboard is very quiet,..great for not waking up your better half, or not bothering folks in the library. Keyboard is 10/10, I can't think of a thing I'd do to improve it. TIP: the trackpad is excellent,..but not fun to use with a mouse. I constantly find myself accidentally tapping or moving the cursor when typing. So--go into windows settings, devices, trackpad and set it to only be ON when the mouse is disconnected. Voila! Can you say Best of Both Worlds? TIP: don't get a 17 inch sleeve or daypack, it will be overly large. I got a 15 inch sleeve and it fits nicely. I guess this is due to the really thin bezels, it's really the size of a smaller laptop. TIP: don't waste money on an SSD larger than the minimum size. Better to pop in a BIG micro-sd for more storage, because you can take it from PC to laptop, or remove it for privacy. Anyway, if you need more storage, a better idea is an external WD 4Terabyte hard drive--cheap and portable and easy to password protect. Take the money you'll save on the smaller SSD and get the 4 year extended warranty. By the way, I play 4-5 gig movies flawlessly, right off the microSD chip (Samsung 512 EVO) (the microSD chip is great for privacy and security, as opposed to the SSD. I do my business payroll, and have protected patient info on the removable chip, so no worries if you live in some "progressive" city like SF or Seattle where they no longer "harass" thieves. ... show more

  • Very nice laptop
Capacity: 17-30.99 inches
Works well. Light and portable. Battery life very good, No touch screen but never use on other desktops/laptops. Fingerprint recognition very good for logging on. Very easy to upgrade. Upgraded ram - took out 8 GB card and added 32 GB (Adamanta 32GB (1x32GB) Laptop Memory Upgrade M471A4G43MB1-CTD DDR4 2666Mhz PC4-21300 SODIMM 2Rx8 CL19 1.2v RAM DRAM) . • Keep looking, this one is not worth the money.
Capacity: 17-30.99 inches
I do not like this laptop and do not feel its worth 1300.00 and i wish I had never purchased it. It feels cheap, and I dont find that it is fast at all. I purchased it as a machine to use with my photography as the color was supposed to be so rich. Not. Waste of money.

  • Issues with the Touchpad Makes it Hard to Use
Capacity: 17-30.99 inches
A nice laptop, light and ergonomic; unfortunately, after a year, I started experiencing issues with the touchpad. It got worse with time to a point where using the laptop may be nerve wrecking. The issue seems to be "mechanical", as the behavior goes back to normal after I "massage" the touchpad by pressing hard on certain areas; unfortunately, it only lasts anywhere between 10 minutes and an hour. Real Frustrating. ... show more

  • Featherweight Powerhouse with a Large High Resolution Screen in a 15 inch Form Factor.
Capacity: 17-30.99 inches
Screen is large, crystal clear and has high resolution. Fits in a case for a 15 inch notebook. Very fast boot up and shut down. Easy and robust wi-fi connections. Stays cool. Power adaptor is about the size of a pack of cigarettes. The i7 processor is very powerful. The video is processor integrated and fast enough for everything except intense games which may un slow. YouTube videos show how to open the case to allow adding a second SSD (it has two bays) and/or swap out the smaller drive for a 1TB drive. Can also replace the socketed 8GB RAM for a 32GB DDR4 to give 40GB total memory. It does fully recognize the 40GB. Cons are that the fan sometimes comes on when it is working hard (not loud but noticeable), it only has a micro SD port and there is no wired ethernet port. Comes with a micro USB ethernet port adaptor and full-sized SD cards can be read using a USB adaptor, but must carry two adaptors. There is plenty of empty space inside the case so both a full-size SD port and ethernet port would have been easy to add. ... show more

  • Loud Touch Pad
Capacity: 17-30.99 inches
This computer is fantastic, except the touch pad is so loud each time I click it, which is often, and it is driving me crazy. My other lap top computers did not have this loud of a touch pad. I would not buy this computer again for this reason alone because it is so annoying.

  • Extremely long battery life and light weight, powerful office application response (EXCEL, ACCESS)
Capacity: 17-30.99 inches
i was first worry about 256G SSD performance since some critical comments found before purchase decision. Actual experience shows no need to worry about it. Fast enough. I test my Samsung SSD, no significant performance enhancement, but battery life dropped dramatically. I switch back.. Happy to buy this sexy machine. Highly recommanded. Well done, LG~~ ... show more
