These ice skates are made fairly well. They are adjustable, and the blade does come flat so they are most likely meant to be beginners. The shell overall is made nicely, it does feel a bit on the cheaper side, but this isn't an expensive pair, so it's to be expected. It does provide more than enough support where it's needed, that much we learned quickly in letting our youngest use these. He just learned last year, and he doesn't have the proper form right now. These helped keep his ankles in places, and in good posture. The strap works well, I just wish it was a little more hidden as hitting the ice would sometimes pop the buckle up. My least favorite aspect of the skate was the insole. The liner itself is very comfortable, but the insole was almost flat. It quickly hurt his feet after a few minutes of riding around so we had to pad the bottoms, which helped. That can be an easy fix, I just wish it came with a better foot support. Not a bad set, but not great either. I think, truthfully, for this price point, and as an entry level skate, it's a steal. I can see these lasting a bit with some extra love and aftermarket parts.

This is a great ice-skating shoes for my little son. We usually rented the shoes from the ice-skating stadium. Now my son can have his own shoes for the ice-skating class. It is a great fit for him and easy to put on. The adjustable size can let him keep this pair of shoes for at least couple years. overall, we are satisfied with the ice-skating shoes.

I got these skates for my 9-year-old son. They seems very high quality and I really like that they're adjustable. I tried them on myself and they fit me, so I'm pretty confident that they will fit him as well. But once he outgrows him, I can pass the down to my younger sons.

I give this item a so so. My kid just started doing hockey, so I have a hard time analyzing hockey boots. The one thing I can say; however, is that the padding isn't soft, and they have seemed harder to use than my son's friends counterparts that are on his team. The straps are also hard to adjust and because I am not famaliar with hockey I am unsure if this is the usual way skates are or not. Overall, I have been having some tribulations with this item but because I am just starting out in the sport I am not being too judgemental.
