I exchanged them for 2 pairs (in different colors) in size 8L. They fit fine. Even a little baggy. The jeans themselves are fine. Pretty thick for the price. Stretchy. Plenty long. Nicely shaped. These jeans are true to size. The denim is soft and comfy. The material is not as thick as the 501s I used to wear back in the day but that is okay, the jeans feel worn in instead of stiff. I am so happy with these pants! They fit well, are stretchy, and flattering. I bought 8S and they just touch the floor with no shoes on so they are a tad on longer side than most short length pants but not by too much For reference, I’m 5’2” and 161 lbs (thanks to Xmas treats 🥴), hourglass shape, pretty evenly proportioned w/ weight evenly distributed. W/ a mom tummy. They say to measure at my natural waist which is 33” an hips 41”. The size chart is way off or I do not know how to read a size chart?!. I am normally a size 8 or 10 so I bought both sizes and the 8 fit (a bit snug in waist but I hope to get rid of Xmas goodies waist) According to their size chart I’m a 12! I measured the size 8 pants on my body. from the crotch seam to the top of the pants is the rise =10.5” Waistband =35.5” Hips = 41” Inseam 30” The waist sits right in the center of my navel. These jeans are fairly comfortable but are already stretching out way too much in the butt and legs after wearing twice. And they are long. If you have a booty, maybe these will fit better. I’m 5’5 and my weight fluctuates. Currently about 165. These black Levi’s are an 8. I have jeans that range from size 4 to 10, because of my weight and amount of stretch in the fabrics.
