I really like these, and it seems like I'm far from alone because half the people I've seen wearing jeans in my neck of the woods lately are wearing them. I probably could have gone with a size smaller, especially in the length. A 34" inseam is my usual Levi's length, which is what I ordered for these, but next time I'm going to try a 32" because the 34" are a bit long on me. (Pet peeve: Jeans companies thinking everybody's legs are an even number size ... I need a 33", dammit!) So, if you're someone like me who's kind of in-between length sizes, you might want to try the shorter inseam. And now, for the main reason I'm writing this review — the other reviews that say they tear easily. I had a pair of regular $50 Levi's that ripped very quickly in exactly the same places as the photos in these reviews — first next to the bottom of the zipper and then at the tops of the back pockets. It seemed like there was a new tear after every time I washed them. So, this tearing problem is not because these are Levi's lower-priced line; it just seems to be how the material is processed (or over-processed) to get some of the color/fading choices. I bought the Palisade color, and the material is the strong, high quality denim that you expect from Levi's. I've worn them at least three times a week for over three months and have washed them over a dozen times with absolutely no sign that they're not going to hold up as well as regular Levi's. I can only recommend the Palisade color since that's the only color I've tried, but if you read through the reviews you'll see which colors people are reporting ripped so you'll know which colors definitely not to buy. .

My husband liked these a lot. True to size. A little bit of stretch but not too much. Normal weight denim. Not cheap denim despite the low price. Color is pretty much as pictured. The pocket stitching is different than old school Levi’s.

It's been 30 years since i bought Levi jeans, and at 74,i never expected to buy anything labeled GOTH. However,after checking Lee,Wrangler,and Levi, I didn't have my options in a 36 waist and 29 length. The color is OK. The fit is excellent,with just the right amount of stretch.

Okay, I really like these jeans; lost a lot of weight recently and these are comfortable and fit well. Except I ran into a recent problem while traveling this week. I wore the jeans when I flew out and when I flew back (all within the USA). Going through metal detector it flagged me around my belt; okay, take it off. Walk through metal detector again and it beeps again and I've been "randomly selected" for more thorough screening. I go through the whole body/wave detector and...each time...it highlights my groin area with a red/yellow box, and TSA has been required to do a full pat down of me. What the heck?! What is it about these jeans that is causing this problem? Two different airports and the same exact experience. I don't get it.

These are my husband’s favorite jeans. They are consistently great quality. They also last a long time. He wears them for working in the automotive industry and they hold up well. He has a very muscular build and they fit him well.
