I have always loved Levi's, especially the 501 styles, and have worn various versions of them since I was a teenager in the mid 80's. So, when these went on sale for October Prime Day I thought I'd give them a try. For reference, I'm 5'5", 135lbs., with a rectangular body shape, and typically wear a 4/27 or 6/28 in Levi's depending on the style. I ordered a 6/28 and they fit well through most of the waist, hips and thighs. The legs are straight, but not too slim or too wide. And they're very flattering on the backside. However, the fit of the waistband is extremely tight compared to the fit of rest of the waist. Thankfully after washing them I was able to stretch out the waistband a bit while the jeans were wet, then hung them to dry. I did pop them in the dryer on low for a few minutes with a softener sheet to soften them. As far as length, I have shorter legs so the jeans hit me just below the ankle, which is the perfect length to wear with chunkier sneakers and "birkie" style sandals or clogs. Overall, I think they are cute and flattering. I know how hard it is to find jeans that fit, especially when shopping online so I hope this review is helpful! ... show more

Very cute! I’m right in between a 29 and 30. Ordered a 30 and they fit like a glove! Perfect amount of stretch. Haven’t worn them yet but they feel like they won’t bag out throughout the day. I’m very picky when it comes to jeans but I’m impressed with these so far.

I’m going 3 stars because these are not what I wanted but I’m still keeping (otherwise they’d be 2 star). These are basically full length jeans. They hit just above the where my sneaker top is, a little too short for my liking but not the ankle length I wanted either. I read all the reviews that said they were shorter than expected-which I wanted-and longer than expected but still short at the ankle spot. So I was confident that the length would be ok. But these are not crop jeans by any definition. Further-there is a thick seam running down the inside of the outer pant leg. So when rolled up it looks off. It has a thick blue line. So it doesn’t really look like it’s meant to be rolled. I love the fit in the waist hips and legs, it’s just the length I have issue with (for what I wanted them for). I’m still keeping because the price was good and I like the fit but I will have to change my footwear plan to make these work. I do know that color variations tend to have size discrepancies. I got these on sale for $39.00 and love them more than I expected. I know sizing of Levi’s can be complicated, but I will say if you have the original 501 Levi’s shorts the sizing is very similar. I’m almost 5’4, weight is currently between 147 to 151 (I’m size 6 or 8 depending on brand) and size 29 fits me great. If I drop to 145, size 28 would fit better, say that based on these fitting like my 501 shorts in size 28 & 29. I also purchased the indigo darker color in a 30 and they fit very close to 29 but a little looser in the waist. I only returned them because I don’t need more jeans. My favorite thing about these jeans is the waist hits right at my belly button so they aren’t too high waisted for me unlike many high waisted jeans. Pic doesn’t show much of jean but allows you to see cut of them if you are also 5’4 like me.
