I have always loved Levi's, especially the 501 styles, and have worn various versions of them since I was a teenager in the mid 80's. So, when these went on sale for October Prime Day I thought I'd give them a try. For reference, I'm 5'5", 135lbs., with a rectangular body shape, and typically wear a 4/27 or 6/28 in Levi's depending on the style. I ordered a 6/28 and they fit well through most of the waist, hips and thighs. The legs are straight, but not too slim or too wide. And they're very flattering on the backside. However, the fit of the waistband is extremely tight compared to the fit of rest of the waist. Thankfully after washing them I was able to stretch out the waistband a bit while the jeans were wet, then hung them to dry. I did pop them in the dryer on low for a few minutes with a softener sheet to soften them. As far as length, I have shorter legs so the jeans hit me just below the ankle, which is the perfect length to wear with chunkier sneakers and "birkie" style sandals or clogs. I really like these jeans. I'm wearing a size 32. It has just enough stretch for us curvy girls. Levi's usually doesn't work for us shapely people but these are a go. Truly high-waisted (IYKYK) without being too snug to button. They are comfortable even when you sit down. Good quality fabric and affordable. It really complements my shape which I can appreciate. I’m going 3 stars because these are not what I wanted but I’m still keeping (otherwise they’d be 2 star). These are basically full length jeans. They hit just above the where my sneaker top is, a little too short for my liking but not the ankle length I wanted either. I read all the reviews that said they were shorter than expected-which I wanted-and longer than expected but still short at the ankle spot. So I was confident that the length would be ok. But these are not crop jeans by any definition. Further-there is a thick seam running down the inside of the outer pant leg. So when rolled up it looks off. It has a thick blue line. So it doesn’t really look like it’s meant to be rolled. I love the fit in the waist hips and legs, it’s just the length I have issue with (for what I wanted them for). I’m still keeping because the price was good and I like the fit but I will have to change my footwear plan to make these work. I do know that color variations tend to have size discrepancies. I absolutely love these jeans! So flattering and a great quality. They honestly look better than the pics in my opinion. The sizing is pretty accurate and they are really comfortable. They hold their shape all day and don't stretch out in the waist or knees. They have just enough stretch to be comfortable but they don't lose their shape. These jeans are more comfortable than the ribcage straight jeans imo. Love the button fly. It’s fitted up the waist, but the denim has a slight stretch so it doesn’t feel restrictive. I bought a size 30 waist for a looser fit (normally a size 28). The wash is just as pictured, love the fringed hems. Levi’s quality is so reliable, these jeans will last a really long time with proper care. Just what I wanted! ... show more
