I do like these jeans. They are a thicker jean fabric which is fine for cooler months. Probably too warm in warmer months. I ordered my regular size in Black and they were too big but I kept them anyway. I also figured they'd stretch out since they're 100% cotton and boy did they ever. I'll wear them on my 'I feel like a baggy jean' day. The waist stretched out the most and I had to pull them tighter and safety pin them closed. Otherwise I could just slide them right off. I may reorder in a smaller size but I'm not sure if I should go down one size or two. Here are the measurements after washing and drying the size 28: Waist: 33 inches Rise: 11 Inches length: 30 1/2 inches Cute jeans but I would recommend sizing down.

I have these jeans in 4 different styles! Two distressed (light and medium wash) and I have 2 regular styles for work (gray and medium wash) I have worn the gray a TON! They are a worn in black, easy to pair with anything. These jeans get better with each wear! I cannot recommend them enough. I would maybe size down ONE size.... if you wear a couple of times you'll get a looser fit! And they are perfection! Get them while they are on sale. I wish I didn't pay as much as I did when I found them at Target... now they are half the price.... I would like the lighter non distressed pair... next.. maybe... to be continued :)

DISCLAIMER: I bought these as a gift for my mom, so while I'm relaying her words in this review, I myself have never bought a pair of these jeans and am only sharing an account. To start, my mom is 5'3" and has a US Womens size 6 waist, but her legs are between a US Womens size 2 and 4. So I ordered her the equivalent size needed to fit her waist, but it was just downhill for her from there. The waistband hit her right across the belly button and had zero give, so they were more of a "standing jeans" than jeans you sit in comfortable. This doesn't work for her since she has acid reflux issues and needs her pants to either be low rise or have some give/stretch in the waist. The legs looked like sails flapping in the breeze on her - we already assumed that they would have a baggy look given the product images, but it was just insane on her. She definitely does not recommend these jeans to anyone with a similar body type to her - your waist fits a larger size pants than your legs. The color was also off from the product images - typically you can expect the colors to be a little different because of lighting, but it looked like a completely different wash. Whatever filter was used when editing the pictures changed the color significantly, in our opinion. These definitely were not the right jeans for her BUT they are NOT bad jeans - the quality is still there, it was just a miss for her body type and needs.

These jeans make me feel like a cool mom. For those of us who were young during the 90s- these jeans are not actually low-rise, in the best possible way. They are mid-rise and hit just below the belly button, which is actually pretty flattering. I typically buy super high-waisted jeans (most of my weight is in the belly) but these hit in a very flattering spot, and my husband actually said he likes them better than the Levi’s rib cage jeans I own. They are also more like traditional 90s jeans in that they have no Lycra in them- but they will “break in” over the course of a day or several wears. Knowing they will loosen up, I did size down (30) from my normal 31 in Levi’s.
