The fit is more loose but hugs the waist and is flattering on the butt. I am usually a 27 but got these in 26 regular and they fit perfectly with no dreaded waist gap in the back. I truly like these jeans. They’re the perfect mom style, high-wasted, relaxed through hips and thighs and with tapered legs. I bought 28x27 and I am four months post-partum (5.3in, 136lbs).

I purchased these jeans because I like the Levi's brand and the price was unbelievably cheap. I have lots of Levis. None quite like these and that is a good thing. I liked the higher waist--this is where the positive's stop. They fit quite well on the waist; however, they were really baggy on the hips the upper legs. This is where I carry most of my weight and they were still way too baggy. Then they were too tight around the calf--they fit around the calf; however, the tightness was not in proportion to the bagginess of the upper portion and the hips. These pants almost reminded me of knickers--but with longer calfs. Sorry not for me.

I've been on the hunt for a flattering AND comfortable pair of jeans with a great fit. These fit the bill. I have a pear shaped body, 5'9, 160 lbs, with a smaller waist and thick thighs/a$$. 9/10 most jeans I try on have the dreaded "gap" in the back. And if they don't than they're unbearably uncomfortable or tight. These are made of good denim, and they fit my waist AND legs perfectly. They were a little shorter than preferred, looking more high water, but still really cute and very flattering (not a lot of stretch around the tummy area). I usually wear a size 28 or 29 (6 or 8) and got the size 28. I also got the pair of New Fun Mom style/wash, in the same size, and I could barely get them up my legs! Way too small. So I think the sizing really depends on the wash/type of denim. That pair I'd probably have to size up to a 29 or larger for them to fit. So long story short- these are GREAT jeans, but the sizing is unreliable so get several different sizes to try on!

I have the Mom jeans in 3 different colors. They are the best! I have an athletic build (small waist and big thighs) and these fit perfectly! There is no weird gapping at the waist and they’re not suctioned to my body either. So comfy! Levi’s are hands down the best.
