I needed these jeans for an upcoming trip. The fit was perfect (size 12M-31/32 at 150lbs-5'4") not tight but not baggy either. I was excited that I finally found a replacement for my most favorite jeans I've had for 4 years. When I began to cut the tags off I noticed both front pockets where frayed to the point of seeing through the material. Needless to say my replacement jeans will not be here in time for my trip. I am horribly upset! Now I have to go shopping for another pair of jeans for my trip!

I love the fit and comfort of these jeans, so I'm so glad I took the advice of some other reviewers and ordered a size down. I'm 5'5", 140 lbs and normally wear a size 6/28, so the 4/27 medium fits almost perfectly. They were still a little long for me after a couple of runs through the washer and dryer so I had to hem them. Because these jeans are lightweight denim they were not too difficult to hem myself with the right needle and thread (and a YouTube tutorial!). Also, a good tailor can adjust the length and reattach the hem if you don't have time or prefer not to DIY it.. With that said, my advice is if you are in between inseam lengths I'd go with the longer option. You can always take away length, but you can't add it if your jeans are too short or if they shrink. Update: So, since I love the first pair of these jeans I ordered, I decided to order another pair in a different color/wash. I ordered a size down (4 med) just like the previous pair expecting them to fit the same. I like the fit and they're comfortable, but the fit is a bit different than the first pair: slimmer through the hips and thighs, with less of a flare and a lower rise (measured to be 1/4" lower than the first pair). So, just be advised!

At first was very happy with the jeans. Although they were thin they fit well( a bit long but that happens a lot for me). As always with new clothes, I washed them. I then hung them up to dry after which I placed in dryer to soften and dewrinkle. When hanging up I saw the begining of a hole already!!! And haven't even worn them yet. Surprised that Levi's would sell such bad quality jeans. But I guess that's just they way things are these days.

These jeans are very flattering. Tighter around the waist, hips, and thighs, and then a slight flare big enough for boots to fit. They are generally comfortable, and I look forward to wearing them out. The pockets do not meet expectations as they are extremely small. Solid buy. I am also 5’3.5”, I got the regular size of the jeans. To me personally they felt a little long, you would definitely want to wear with boots rather than tennis shoes. After asking friends and family, they think the length is fitting.

sizing can be tricky, check again to be sure. the fit is accurate on two sizes i chose. happy with both pairs of boot cut women's jeans
