After purchasing the 94 Baggy in the colors Dijon and Darkest Spruce last year, I totally fell in love with this style! At the time, these were the only two corduroy options, but in fall 2024 Ermine brown was introduced too. I have now purchased all three colors in a size 26. Comparing the three, the Darkest Spruce and Ermine both fit me comfortably at the waist (26 inch waist, and I prefer relaxed fits), while the Dijon is a bit *too* loose, causing it to "sag" the slightest bit. They are all corduroy, but the fabric of the Ermine is thinner than the other two. The buttons on the Ermine are lighter weight than the buttons on Dijon. Ermine and Dijon are similar in color, both in person and in pictures. Despite that, I think the Ermine is more versatile and suited for more outfits. Ermine is a solid medium brown, while the Dijon as a notable yellow tint that is a bit difficult to pair with any top that isn't a warm Autumn tone. Meanwhile, the Darkest Spruce is a beautiful deep green color that is very suited for winter outfits and cool-toned looks. Because this style has a loose, relaxed fit, I find that the light yellow-brown shade of the Dijon starts to look a bit messy as the fabric folds/bunches (especially at the thigh and around the ankle) compared to the other two pairs. The fact that Dijon is a bit looser at the waist than the others accentuates this problem, since it sits a bit lower and thus bunches even more around shoes. In contrast, Ermine and Darkest Spruce drape nicely throughout the leg and end right at the top of my shoes. To remedy the bunching, I tend to wear the Dijon pair with a belt or cuffed at the ankle. The fabric holds the cuffs well. If I could only choose one pair, I would choose the Darkest Spruce for its uniquely rich color and quality fabric. However, I think the Ermine is the most versatile, as the shade of brown pairs nicely with outfits in many seasons. I wash these on delicate with warm water and hang dry. I have worn and washed Dijon and Darkest Spruce many times now, and they still look new! These are my favorite style of pants, and I hope Levi's continues making them in corduroy washes. ... show more

UPDATE! As of 10/21. GO WITH YOUR ORIGINAL SIZE I returned for a size 28. They fit MUCH better. Length is the same. But taking an inch off for better and more comfortable on the hips and waist. Not as big of a gap on the back. I kinda felt like I was forcing myself to be happy with the “baggy look” in the 29. I only got the 29 because that’s what Amazon suggested. However, the 28 and a size 8 is my true size in jeans. So I would say go with your original size! They are still that baggy relaxed fit, but more complimenting in your true size. Squat and sit down tested. Still comfy! (FYI, pics below are from the size 29, not the updated 28). The length was perfect for me. I’m 5’4 and about 127 to 129lbs. I usually wear a size 8 or 28 in jeans but I went with a size 29. I contemplated if I should have sized down to my normal size or not, but based on their chart saying size 28 is a 6/7 in jeans and how they don’t have much stretch, I’m afraid it would feel too tight near the crotch when I sit or squat down to pick up my kids, or that the length would be too short if I sized down. I only marked it one star down because I haven’t tried washing it yet, and maybe the fit will be more perfect fit after I dry it, and it shrinks a little, because I personally would like it to fit slightly more. I think it’s a good value for the quality of the jeans. I don’t really spend more than $50 on jeans anyway, so this was one of my more expensive ones I bought that will hopefully last many years to come. Coming from a new Levi’s jeans buyer this year, I’ve found that these jeans are a bit tricky with sizing because their jeans don’t have much stretch. So depending on your body, where you fill out more (hips, butt, thighs, height) the fit drastically varies. Material feels thick and durable, not much stretch. With that being said, I find the relaxed fit very comfortable as a mom of 2 under 2, and now days I don’t want anything constricting me. I usually opt for a high waist after my 2 c-sections I had for emotional support lol, but these mid rise jeans hung on just right, while covering that little mommy pooch hehe. My booty has shrunk after I gave birth, but I still find the jeans to be flattering in that baggy, “I don’t care” but looks cute look, without it sagging on the crotch. I think this could be dressed up with a cute top, heels, and accessories as well. ... show more

    • Lose without being sloppy

Great jeans, and the perfect length for me at 5'4" if you like a long hem that just about touches the floor. The rise is longer then true 90s jeans used to be - those were usually 8" to 9 1/2" - but still better then the 12" rise that's been plaguing us short-waisted people for years. These are easy these the thighs without being excessive, and the overall width doesn't overwhelm my frame. Note that the sizing is inconsistent, though. The black version is noticeably bigger/looser than the others in size 28, I wish I'd gotten the 27. But the other two washes (light blue and medium blue) I've bought fit in the 28. Might be worth getting multiple sizes to get the right fit. ... show more
