I am very confused by the reviews saying to size up in these jeans. I have always been a 28 in Levis (5'9 140lbs), but I have to size down in 501s. I have another pair of 100% cotton 501s that I sized down to a 27 in, and they are slightly snug, but look better than the 28s. I assumed that was a fluke for that specific color so I got my usual 28s in this pair. They were way too big. I sized down to a 27 and they are still very baggy, specifically in the crotch area. It looks like I will have to size down to a 26 in these. Very frustrating. This color is also not 100% cotton and has a significant amount of stretch. I would love to see this color in a heavier, 100% cotton! ... show more

Haven't worn a pair of 501s since I was 15, and was scared to try. BUT... They fit PERFECTLY!!! I'm 5-04, 120. They're a little snug in the waist, but then I'm a little fat in the waist, too. I have been wearing the Levi's Signature series jeans, and in them I am a size 4. Looked at the reviews and tried a 28/30, and they are just like I remembered. Enjoying my trip down memory lane right now, and they look really good on this old lady ;-) ... show more

These are my fourth purchase of women’s Levis from Amazon, and as of today my last. My gripe is this: The straight size women’s 501 Levi’s in a 34 are too small for me, but these-the NEXT SIZE UP, plus size 35/16- are too big. 😩🤦♀️ And there isn’t a size 14 on Amazon, but there IS on the Levi’s website. I can’t be the only person in this category that finds it infuriatingly frustrating that there aren’t Levi’s 501 WOMENS jeans offered in my size at all on Amazon. These are supposed to fit close in the hips and thighs, yet on my apple shaped body they’re baggy. The waist is also too large, so when I bend the excess fabric in the front resembles a diaper. The length was maybe an inch long on my 5’6 frame. Sadly, these are going back like the others I’ve tried recently and I’ll just have to order from the Levi’s website. For reference, ones I’ve tried that didn’t fit me recently are: Levi’s Curvy 501s in a 34- waist fit, too big in the hips and butt Levi’s Low Loose in a 33- too big in waist and hips and legit an extra 12 inches of fabric pooling around my feet 😑 ... show more

I lived the way these fit on top. I hate the way the legs were too baggy. The fit was off, and I wasn’t able to select the length. I loved they were zero stretch and the color was just as described. They were comfy, and the price was great.

Levis are my favorite go to jeans. That being said. I ordered the size of this particular style buttons no zipper, according to the reviews that I read most said the jeans run tight.
