I was going to return it because I usually don't like corduroy-like texture but, after missing the return window, I put them on and they were soft, pliable, and SILENT. No corduroy noise. I like the extra pocket, too. Good pants.

These are my favorite pants. I've only been wearing these for 3 years, but they have a few flaws. Fading. As others mention, the color tends to fade quickly. Shrinking. Depending on how you like to wash your clothes these pants will shrink, feeling tighter around the thighs. Different feel per color. Though some colors are standard taper, you will notice that some colors feel different than others. For example, buy a blue slate pair and a cougar brown, the cougar brown feels tighter around the legs. If you can get around these flaws, then these are a great pair of pants. I bought these pants for a trip to Scotland and Ireland. I’m happy I bought a few pair as they are perfect. The fit is just right, the tapered legs are nice, and my personal favorite is the hidden zippered pocket that is perfect to carry your ID, credit cards, and room key. I love how these fit and feel. Way more comfortable than denim. However, I ordered these in August 2023 and now there's a 1 inch tear by the top left side of the right back pocket. I ordered a new pair in a different color, since the color I originally bought is now out of stock in my size.
