First time I used this wallet was on a trip to Hawaii. I forgot to remove this wallet from my shorts and spent an hour in the waves boggie boarding. Luckily my shorts velcro pocket stayed shut, even after being tossed by several waves. After an hour in the water I came out to rest and realized my wallet was in my pocket. The wallet was soaked, the few dollars I had were wet. Once I was back at the condo I rinsed out the sand in the wallet, soaking the wallet yet again. Blowed dry it and left it inthe sun the following day. To my surprise, the wallet did not expand or stiching wear away. Card slots did not stretch out and still hold cards firmly. Leather is still firm yet soft if that makes sense. Seems like it never ended up in the ocean, except for the occasional grains of sand see/feel once in awhile. Stop searching. Buy this one!

The most perfect wallet, dont listen to the bad reviews. Levi's is top of the line brand, this wallet is perfect in size, not too big, not too small, not bulgy at all. I almost didnt buy it because i read one or two negative reviews, but as soon as this arrived, the 1st thought in my mind was I WANT TO BUY ANOTHER ONE ASAP. This would make a great gift for any man. I already put 4 credit cards in here and some dollar bills, and i have no complaints. Looks great, smells good, im just so happy with it.

I just received it & It has been LOVE at First sight!!! It took me FOREVER to make up my mind (soooo many options I was going CRAZY!) & I think I got it right. I'm planning to give it to my Boyfriend as a Father's Day gift to replace his old wallet, and let me tell you this is better looking than expected... I'm sure he's gonna love it. Very manly and just the right size. Tried some of my cards and bills and everything fits just fine. Can't wait to give it to him...I'll update with his reaction ;)

Purchased this as a gift. Seems to be good quality and sturdy. Cards slide in and out just fine... I did think this was genuine leather when purchased (I looked at a lot of wallets so maybe got confused), but after receiving I questioned whether it is or not (double checked description and it says coated leather)...so wondering if it will hold up... will update later!

At first I thought it didn't have enough compartments. The bills area wasn't shown in the product photos and it only has one bill area. My old wallet had two. After looking at the stuff in my old wallet I found I could put some of it in my office cabinet on the "less-used shelf." That made the wallet thinner and doesn't hurt my hip bone like the old one did when sitting on it. I haven't needed any of that removed stuff. So it just became my new favorite wallet. The outside "leather" says "bonded leather" meaning shredded leather bits bounded together somehow with some sort of resin to make a sheet. I've never had bonded leather last as long as slit-to-thickness leather. I hope this one will be different. Only time will tell, and the price was such that if it doesn't last 20 years like my last real leather one I won't be too disappointed. It looks and feels nice and the stitching looks decent. I'm happy with it.

When I received my first one it had a big dye mark That did not look good. I Was sent an instant replacement. The new one also has dye marks , but in the right places , so I am very happy with #2. These are real leather & show variations in tone & texture such as scars , wrinkles & varying rates of absorption of dyes/sealers. Each one is unique & individual. Very well made & stitched. Very Satisfied 10/10 Update: Upon inspection with microscope , it is in fact faux leather with a cloth backing , ,but looks & feels like goat hide. Kinda like good C.G.I. , hard to tell if real until VERY close look. Anyway , kept both & gifted one. 9/10

My New Levis Trifold Wallet Holds Exactally The Same Items That I Had In My Old Wallet, But I Really Like It That My DL Slot Is Dead Center Of This Wallet, So No More Flipping Through My Old Plastic Photo Holder To Find Anything. The Way The Slots Are Set Up ( Which By The Way: Are A Bit Snug For A Secure Hold On All Items ) I Can Just Line Up My Items And Into A Slot They Go, Linning Up Everything In A Perfect Order, And Then Just Slip My DL's Into The Center Slot And, Everything All Linned Up In Perfect Lines. Well, the wallet is very dark compared to the photo. My old wallet darkened over the years naturally. The metal button logo is black gunmetal colored, a tiny bit darker than the photo. The stitching is single-stitched and has some low-quality areas-I expect it to get busted faster than my last one. It doesn't live up to the capacity of my older Levi wallet (see photo to compare) but it was bi-fold to be fair. The internal Levi logo has HIDEOUS stitching on its sides that make no sense (photo). Once you load everything in it you pretty much bought it, so I am hoping that it will relax like a shoe and conform to its contents (you can see it rests half open on day one). It might be useful that it's tight so it will stay compact once it relaxes. I may or may not continue my Levi-only must-have-front-metal-button wallet tradition.
