I recently bought these and a pair of 505's in the same size. I have larger legs and bottom than most so I need extra room through the seat of the pants and the thighs. I used to wear silver tab baggy jeans and I think these are the closest replacement to that type of fit. Not a direct replacement but closest. I actually think these are just as comfortable and actually look neater than the silver tabs. The 505's are a little tighter but still fit me. So if you want most comfortable I'd go with the 559 or if most jeans always fit tight in the legs and rear as well. The 505's probably look a bit better but will be less comfortable. ... show more

I like this style jean for almost anytime out. They are durable and don’t look like stiff cardboard. I recommend buying them anytime you see them under $36-$37. Great Levi's fit & quality. I wasn't familiar with the 559 model style but was looking for a cooler than usual denim. These are definitely a loose fit style and the lightest feel denim ever. Much lower temp feel than normal. I got the stonewashed version and am pleased with my purchase. Not the lowest in cost but much lighter & cooler than other big name brands. This is the only men’s Jean that I have been able to find than evens out my bottom half comfortably. I am a 5’7” 180lb AFAB, curvy and I can NOT find any readily available Jean that straightens the leg shape. The pants either taper down, which highlights my legs shape and doesn’t let me pass masc, or the shape works but the inseam is sized to allow for more room for AMAB and is uncomfortable for my body shape.
