1st impression: I am not easily satisfied when it comes to clothing that I cannot try on before I buy. Like in the box stores. However, this fits as expected. Quality is great. You should know I purchased these a little longer than I normally would have to allow for shrinkage. That might have been a mistake. They did not shrink. The package was delivered on time, as described on the site and as of this writing, wearing properly and without any issues. If anything goes wrong in the near future, such as falling apart in the wash, I will update this review.

Levi's brings the quality. These are a good regular fit, just enough room in the seat and thigh without being baggy. I'm a 44 inch waist with thunder thighs. The waist sits at a perfect spot. What I especially like about these is they are durable. Other brands (such as Costco bargain jeans) wear out quickly in the crotch (see "thunder thighs" above) so I have to patch them with iron on patches to extend their life. These jeans don't do that, showing little sign of wear even after many uses.

The fit is great. The pants feel worn in and soft. The only problem to me is the front pockets. It's difficult to get get anything in those pockets. They're soo tight that you struggle to get your wallet or your phone in there. Due to that, I'm returning the pants. But if that is a non issue to you, the pants are perfect and recommended.

These 550 Style Levi jeans fit at the waist and have a relaxed fit. They are well made and true to size. Note that many of the colors in this style are 100% cotton and have NO stretch. However, the Clif color is 99% cotton with 1% Lycra for stretchiness - a nice touch. This is what I bought. So just be aware that, amazingly, the Color you pick determines whether or not it has stretchiness !
