I wanted a paid of black jeans that weren't too baggy, and I like these a lot. On the plus side, they fit well, look good, and really are quite comforttable in both hot and cold weather. On the negative side, the black ones aren't really black, but are very dark blue. More importantly, they are nowhere near as durable as good old jeans used to be. They will start to wear out if you keep things in the pockets all the time, and they will start to generally fray after a while. The fabic is not nearly as thick as denim used to be. They’re cooling and not as hot as regular jeans material. These have a khaki pant feel to them but have the appearance of jeans. Comfortable and cool. But I’ve had them for about 2 months and it doesn’t seem like they’re going to last long. But only time will tell.

I purchase this cut when the price drops and then I order them long and get them tailored to fit. Typically I get the length and width from the knee to the ankle reduced to my liking. Probably another $20 to $30 for the alteration, but having "custom" fit jeans that are just how I want them is priceless! ... show more

My husband loves this style of pants. We have noticed there is not a lot of consistency between different colors. We ordered the same size and style but different colors, and some are significantly different lengths. But these are still a favorite and we will definitely order again.
