I wanted a paid of black jeans that weren't too baggy, and I like these a lot. On the plus side, they fit well, look good, and really are quite comforttable in both hot and cold weather. On the negative side, the black ones aren't really black, but are very dark blue. More importantly, they are nowhere near as durable as good old jeans used to be. They will start to wear out if you keep things in the pockets all the time, and they will start to generally fray after a while. The fabic is not nearly as thick as denim used to be. The answer is to always have a pair in reserve in the closet for when these aren't usable any more. However, I generally am very happy with them.
