Contrary to other reviews, the jeans fit exactly as I needed them to. I'm about 5'10" / 5'11" and 165 lbs. I ordered a 33x32 and the waist was perfect. The length does feel a little long, but I like my jeans like that so it works for me. However, I wear suspenders rather then belts so if you wore a belt with these, the slightly long length wouldn't be an issue. I've only had them a short while so I can't comment on durability, but given the price of other jeans, even if they only last me a year, they'll be totally worth the price. Worth trying, especially since they have free returns.

Nice jeans, great for boots

Got these for my boyfriend for Christmas, he loves them. He is athletic and is a 32" waist but since these were 'slim' cut I got him a 33" to give him a little more room in the thighs. He says they are comfortable and he likes the look of them. I will order another pair in the Fume wash for him. They fit great over his boots but also look good with sneakers. Unless you have slim legs for your build you would be fine ordering your true waist size, but if you have muscular legs you should probably order an inch up unless you want a close fitting jean.

I am not sure if they changed the cut of these or what but I have a couple pairs at home and they fit great, but these are really tight through the thighs. I know they are supposed to be slim cut but these are really slim. I did switch from a 34 waist to a 33 but I wouldn't expect that to make such a difference in the width of the thigh.

Levis should takr their name off these

Do Not buy these. Spend the extra few bucks and get them off the Levis website. I love the fit of the 527s, but this material is paper thin and quality control non existent. One pair came 2" longer than another, and the fit around the thigh seems complete random (I bought 3 pairs).

Stylish for big thighs

Okay, so years of sports left me sizing out of most standard fit jeans. 501s are right out. 527s have a snug stylish fit in the upper leg and a bit of stretch that helps with comfort. the wider base of the jean keeps you from looking like Fall Out Boy - so no worries about being mistaken for a hipster. A bit snug in the crotchal-region so I'm pulling a star for that. Also, one of the few styles that comes in some color styles that are not pre-faded. For those that don't want brand new jeans that look like a 10 year-old thrift store find. Recommend: Give them a wash first to get the extra dye out. Otherwise, your waded up cash (savings from the awesome buy on Amazon) turns a suspicious shade of indigo. Cheers!
