These Levi's are great for everyday wear and feel sturdy as well as looking nice. Originally I hated jeans and only started to wear them recently as I just had bad experiences with them a while back. These jeans however are great to wear and I find them to be comfortable and warm in the colder months. They are 505's so they do not have stretch and are straight legged. I personally like this style, however due to it being non elastic, if you are a guy sitting down at >45 degree angle, it will ride up and squash your jewels a bit. I'm pretty sure this is normal in jeans and i'n still getting used to them, but just be aware of this if this could be a problem for you. Overall they're a great pair of jeans and I think they will last me for years, I even bought 5 pairs after my initial pair due to a sale. Just be sure to avoid the discontinued black option as the pockets are super tight and if you're sitting or even standing, grabbing things out of the pockets is a legitimate struggle.

Nice relaxed fit. A little different from an earlier pair of the exact same type that I already owned. The front belt loops are quite close together making it difficult to fit a modest sized (3") belt buckle in between them. Otherwise these seem to be durable and good looking.

These are the only jeans my son will wear…ever! He has worn this same style since middle school & since he hasn’t grown much since then, he actually still wears several pair he’s had since middle school! He’s 23 now! So I've been having issues with the sizing of Levi's lately. Specifically the inseam measurement. I'm 5'9" and have a 30 inch inseam but with almost every pair of Levi's that I've ordered over the past year the inseam has been wrong most of the time. I'll order a 30 and it'll be too short but a 32 is too long. I had two pairs of jeans where the 30's were correct. So when I ordered these I bought a pair of 30's and a pair of 29 inch inseam to try and cover my bases. Fortunately these 505's, which are red tag, were a perfect fit with the 30 inch inseam. I didn't even have to open the 29's and will be returning them. These look like traditional Levi's quality with a nice thick denim. Probably not as thick as a pair of 501's but still nice and thick. Seems like they'll be plenty durable.

The stretch material is unique and great. Jeans made of the stretch material should be placed in a 5xx category by itself, or a code placed after the 5xx. When my wife bought 505 jeans for me they did not fit well like the stretch 505s I just so happen to purchased the first time without being aware it was a unique stretch material. It took some time to figure out that that the second pair were not made of the stretch fabric! Beware. Levi's, please fix this. There is no way to tell stretch from non-stretch by looking at the pants labels after the removable labels are removed.
